EPD have extensive world-wide experience in the field of crude oil, water and gas processing including detailed knowledge of specialist technologies and their application. - Reservoir Engineering for Enhanced Oil Recovery
Assessment of the reservoir characteristics is required in the design of a water injection project for specification of the quality of water to be injected. Typically this would involve the selection of suitable core material and subsequent core analysis and testing.
- Fluid Analysis and Chemistry
A complete and accurate characterisation of aqueous fluids is vital for reservoir studies and the subsequent design of the appropriate fluid process packages. These include the potential injection water (source water) which may be produced water, sea water, river water, aquifer water or a combination of these. Analysis is also performed on the oil, gas and formation water. For most analyses it is advisable to perform the analyses on fresh samples on-site for the best results.
- Oilfield Chemicals Evaluation and Selection
EPD offer a full range of laboratory screening trials and can assist in the field testing of selected chemicals. EPD can also assist clients in the compilation of a toxicological database or risk assessment for all the chemicals used within a production system or at a production plant.
